Georgia solar calculator
Live production from NLR (formerly NREL) PVWatts V8. Georgia uses net billing (Georgia Power Solar Buy Back) — self-consumption offsets retail (~13¢/kWh), exports earn ~7.2¢/kWh. Residential systems are capped at 10 kW AC under the program. Georgia has no statewide income tax credit for residential solar (unlike neighboring South Carolina) and no universal sales/property tax exemption — this calculator does not assume them. EMC cooperatives serve ~4.4M Georgians outside Georgia Power and are not modeled. Defaults: south-facing roof mount, 20° tilt, 14% losses.
Try (Atlanta), (Sandy Springs), (Decatur) — any valid US ZIP for this state also works.
